LAT Magazine. Published both in print and online. Languages - multi-lingual to be able get back to the communities that dont read English. The ultimate purpose of this magazine is to educate Ugandans about art and how art communicates, educates, informs, relates with and can be used to transform society. The LAT Magazine will be distributed to primary and secondary schools, tertiary institutions and at village levels so as to reach grassroots communities. The Art Centre shall involve, engage and empower the communities around by providing them with new skills while nurturing the old ones giving them a means to improve their lives. It shall also provide space for the community to meet and discuss social, economic, cultural and civic issues. |
